Somewhere in your company is a spreadsheet that does a crucial thing. Or there's an exchange of emails, a folder of Word docs or even paper, or a thing built by Ron or Sarah who's been gone for years now, that nobody wants to touch.

The rest of the business runs on Epicor Kinetic, but not that.

How we fix it

META eight provides you with a bespoke solution that does exactly what you need. A little standalone system, secure, robust, with UI designed around your users.

What's most important is that it can also seamlessly fit into your Kinetic workflows, exchanging data in the background as necessary. So, for example, your unique set of quality checks can live in your unique system for managing them, and the results be immediately accessible within Kinetic. And the part numbers can be pulled from Kinetic so they don't need to be kept up-to-date in two places.

Your users can create their own systems, and new tools are springing up with even more possibilities, promising (and even delivering) custom software without developers. It's rare, though, for them to be able to fit into a system that already exists, and all such systems have a choice of two risks. Your users have manual workarounds and double data input, or you have something connected to your ERP that isn't fully understood, and may not have the same data control and business logic. Just the risks off-system spreadsheets have always had.

Costs

Prices vary according to the functionality required, but a simple system could be as little as £5000. We will work with you to define the right level of functionality and provide a clear estimate before any work begins.

If you opt for the standard cloud installation there is an ongoing cost per month (to the provider rather than META eight), which is usually very low, £10 or so per month. We don't charge any ongoing fee for maintenance unless you specifically request support. If you opt for a general retainer package, the support is included.
